It's been awhile since I did inventory, but I had to clean out my garage, and wait for the tools that I ordered. And let's not forget the all-important riveting practice that needs to take place before you can start building. I'm still practicing, but I just had to put something together.
Moved the parts to the garage (my workshop). Is there enough room to build an airplane here? Kind of looks like a mess to me. You should have seen it before I cleared-out all of the junk.
Began work on the rear spar assembly. File and clean-up the rear spar reinforcment bars. Boy, I really like that Scotch-brite wheel on my grinder. Cleco'ed, and match-drilled all holes--first part started! Does that look like an airplane part to you?
Rear Spar reinforcment bars up close, all nice and shiny. No rivets yet, that day will come.
There's dufus. He usually doesn't allow his picture to be taken, but the FAA wants evidence of actual work. Of course, he could just be coming in every once-in-a-while, and get his picture taken, while "Bill the airplane builder" does the actual work. Nah, this is too much fun.
