Empennage - Horizontal Stabilizer
 | More deburring of the left HS ribs, and more Alodining. The Alodining went a lot better today, since I used more Alodine and was able to immerse all the parts. That's Trade-a-Plane underneath. If the photography was better, you would be able to see that the parts have a nice gold finish that comes close to the yellow Trade-a-Plane. I also painted the reinforcement bars that get riveted to the 603 Rear Spar. |
 | Notice how the circles on the 708 rib match the holes in the 704 rib. I need to do a little better job of moving things around in the solution, but I'm still happy with the results. I think I will leave the parts with just Alodine, except for the 704/705 Ribs (I think it will look better to match the other side). |
