Wing - Spars
I had a fair amount of trouble with the tie-down assemblies. This should be a very simple procedure, but I seemed to make mistake after mistake. Incredibly, I spent 10 hours over several nights on the tie-down assemblies. How is this possible--read on.
|First thing, is to cut off each spacer. Good old muscle power. That's right, old muscles.|
|Next, I weighted a spacer, just to see how much I would save by cutting out the lightening hole. As you can see, one spacer weighs just under an ounce. Hmm, how much can we possibly save?|
|The actual weight of 4 spacers is just over 3 ounces.|
