Fuselage - Forward Section

2006-03-04 - Preparing to rivet the side skins - deburring. (4.0 Hrs).

More step prep and more deburring.

One part deburred, 30 minutes. That's right, 30 minutes. I know most guys say they do this in 2 minutes, but I can't see how. Obviously, 30 minutes is a bit extreme, but there will be no parts on this airplane where you will be able to cut yourself. That takes time.

The SuperFil has dried from last week. Ready to sand.

Came out nice. Also, sanded the whole step. I think I'll shoot some primer tomorrow.

Decided to go ahead and fill in the other welds on the steps.

Not much for a half-day's work.
