Finished cutting all of the parts for both seat backs, and even assembled one seat back, without the rivets.
Cut the F-637C angles for the back of the seats. Looks like that last piece is about 1 inch too short to use. I must have some more .063 x 3/4 x 3/4 somewhere around here ... I found it, only about 12 feet left.
Now, we have four F-637C angles cut to approximately the same length, filed, and polished.
A little cutting, a little filing, a little polishing, and the left F-638 will look just like the right part.
I cut two hindges to 15 1/2 inches, because the plans say "15 1/2 total hindge length". However, if you look at the plans a little closer, it appears that the bottom hindges need to be 16 inches long, with the eyelets covering 15 1/2 inches. The two shorter pieces will probably be ok for the top hindges.
Cutting the lightening holes in F-638. If you don't want to setup the drill press, then this will work.
All the parts needed to build two seat backs. Wish I could figure out something to do with all of those holes. I have a collection started.
First holes drilled, clecos installed, time to quit.
Ok, I couldn't just quit with 4 holes drilled. I had to drill all of the holes in the side rails. One seat finished, almost.
Ok, we can't very well go in without seeing if the seat fits, can we? It does.
